Have you ever asked what is our purpose in life? Well I can tell you, it is to do good works. It is to love one another. It is to spread the gospel message far and wide. This is our purpose.

Dear sister, renew yourself with purpose today. The beautiful thing about good works is they can be very simple to do and they can really take no time at all. Your works can be grand but they don't have to be. They can be beautiful small every day gestures that add up to something grand over time. Good works that add up to a legacy of being a good and faithful person. A legacy your children and their children will see.

Good works are easy to start but it does take a little thought. It is easy to unconsciously go throughout your day performing no good works. You may honk the horn at the person going slow in front of you, you may make a smart remark to a co-worker, you might give snide looks to others or just generally have a bad attitude. But let's change that, start today.

Start simply. Instead of rushing ahead in traffic so someone can't get over, let them in. Instead of getting irritated by that one annoying co-worker, pay them a compliment today. Open the door for someone. Tell a fellow sister their dress looks cute. Offer to pay for the meal of the person behind you in a drive through. Just simple things. You will feel your attitude change. You will feel a weight lifted off your shoulders.

So dear sister this day, please be the change you want to see in the world. It starts somewhere. If everyone acted just a little kinder imagine how much of a better place this world can be.
