Sometimes we get complacent in life. We become taken for granted. I know with my kids I feel like I get stuck in the same routine day after day. It doesn't seem to matter how hard I try to keep the house clean, teach my kids or make fun new memories they are never truly appreciated and result in groans and complaints or meltdowns. It can be hard to feel very valuable, but I have to remember my worth to the most important, to God. To Him, the work I do with my children, His word that I try to spread, it all means to much to Him. Things that may feel mundane to me, are worth so much to Him.

So dear sister this day, please know you are worth more then rubies. Maybe not everyone shows their appreciation for what you do day in, and day out. But please know that I appreciate you and more then anything know the Lord appreciates you and thinks you are worth every precious gemstone in the world.
