Every now and then I come across something that I just have to RAVE about.

Well, this is one that I am so impressed with, I want to take it to the next level and share it!

It is a version of the Bible called "The Message" written by Eugene H. Peterson.

Eugene H. Peterson is a well known long time Pastor who spent a decade translating the Bible to contemporary language. To me this version bridges the gap between the important message that was written long ago in the "old" language and converts that wonderful message into words that you and I use today.

There have been so many important Bible messages that stumped me or I couldn't really grasp what was being taught because the words used confounded me.

Well this one makes me feel like the apostles are sitting in front of me speaking to me today.

Multiple biblical scholars reviewed this version to ensure that it kept true with the original version of the bible.

I think you will find this to be your favorite version. This is a great gift for someone who is new to scripture. I was so excited when I found this because I've been wanting for some time to find a way to get scripture into the hands of those new to it, in a way that was easy to understand. Scripture that wouldn't discourage a new reader because it was difficult to read.

For missionary purposes, I'm super excited about this one!
