Vaccine Schedule

Vaccines are an essential part of Kune Kune health. Just like you vaccinate your dog, it is best practice to vaccinate your pigs from potential harmful illnesses, worms or bacteria.

Vaccines are one of those things that can be a little controversial and everyone has their own methods and timelines but this one is approved by our Kune's vetinarian and has yielded us many a healthy piggie. Vaccines can also vary based on location. Your location may have different needs then mine. I am located in Texas however if you are in Oregon your vet may recommend a different vaccine schedule. Please use this just as a general guideline but I highly recommend discussing with your vet the vaccine schedule they recommend following.

Below is the vaccination schedule we follow from birth through weaning age.
It advises the time frame when shots are administered and the dosage given.
This is what we give to healthy piglets. If a piglet is sick, ill or runted, contact a vet first.
